Skypark Adventure Park
What can become the main thing for a traveler when he chooses for himself the next point on the map. Bright locations and impressions that we are always in pursuit of.
Beautiful panoramic views are a feature of the Skypark. The Caucasian mountain range, the Akhshtyr gorge, the Mzymta River, the Black Sea, Trout farming and Ship Rocks are just some of the beauties that a person who finds himself here sees.
Everything is fine with this in the Skypark. The park is located in the Akhshtyr gorge, the arches of which rise 200 meters above the Mzymta River. The length of the gorge is about 2.5 kilometers and it is part of the Ahtsu mountain range. On the slopes of the gorge, you can see Jurassic limestones, in which Mzymta washed its unusual route. Even from one description, the heart already begins to freeze. But just imagine what a view opens up to a traveler when he looks at all this from a bird's-eye view, finding himself on the longest suspension pedestrian bridge in Russia. Wow! OMG! Wow! Perhaps only interjections can describe this delight.
There is another natural wonder in the Akhshtyr gorge - Ship Rocks. They are so named because their outlines resemble ships stuck to the harbor. According to legend, in ancient times, when there was an ocean instead of a gorge, there was a pier for ships on the place of rocks. This also explains the unusual name. The arches of the gorge are heavily lined, there are several caves in them, the most famous of which is Akhshtyrskaya, in which the first settlements of ancient man were discovered. 130 thousand years ago, Neanderthals lived there. And it should be noted that they knew a lot about beauty: the place they chose is one of the most beautiful in Sochi.
Bright green colors in summer, yellow-red in spring and absolutely incredible winter landscapes - it is not so important in which season you come to us, as each is unique in its own way. The Skypark is located on the territory of the Sochi National Park – here you can see the subtropical broad-leaved Colchis forest. Climbing the bridge, you will see not only the beauty of the Akhshtyr gorge, but also the seascape that will not leave anyone indifferent.
